Consultancy Services for Revising and Updating the Master Plan of Taiz City for the Year 2025

The first Master Plan for Taiz City was prepared in 1978 by Louis Berger (in joint venture with another firm) , with a planning horizon to the year 2000. The study area for Taiz City includes a population of 600,000 and covers roughly 10,000 - 15,000 hectares which is expected to grow to 1,5 million inhabitants and cover 30,000 ha in the planning horizon to year 2025. Poverty reduction is a key feature of the plan. The revision and updating of the Master Plan for Taiz City had been commissioned to Louis Berger.
