Louis Berger won the project of strengthening of the Management Unit under the Second National Rural Road Program in Morocco

Louis Berger is leading the consortium that was selected for the project of strengthening the Management Unit for the Second National Rural Roads Programme (PNRR2) (PS379).

The PNRR2, launched in 2005 by the Moroccan Government, provides for improving 15,500 km of roads and should result at completion in an accessibility rate of about 80%. The program should ultimately lift three million inhabitants out of their current remoteness.

The objective of Louis Berger assignment is to support the Road Directorate in the full management of the road network’s development and operation under PNRR2, and in completing the program on time. The project also set up organizational controls and systems for effective and efficient management of PNRR2. This assignment is the continuation of the technical assistance to the Project Management Unit for PNRR2 that Louis Berger provided until June 2011.
