The mobility policy
Louis Berger's mobility policy is open and flexible. The staff based in Paris has frequent opportunity to seek assignment abroad, including within the first months after joining.
Most of the employees may, after a few months of initial duties at headquarters and throughout their career, choose an expatriation contract for the duration of a construction project or an assignment in a well defined geographical zone. For the experts recruited initially on assignments abroad, Louis Berger offers the possibility of assignment at headquarters as their careers progress.

A well-organized welcome
Our Human Resources Department organizes the introduction of new employees to our staff and systems under a stewardship program and assigns a permanent employee with the role of facilitating the new Berger employee’s integration into the teams at headquarters and in the field. The HR welcome allows them to get acquainted, as soon as they arrive, with their future co-workers and their work environment and therefore to be quickly operational.
Training to progress and to perfect
Throughout one’s career at Louis Berger, training is organized in accordance with the specific needs of projects and to evolving professional techniques, as well as to the individual skill development of the employees.
The profiles we seek
Louis Berger recruits experts with degrees in engineering, economics and other professions at the Master of Science or Master of Arts level (or equivalent) – with international experience, speaking fluent French, English, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic …
Recent graduates
Each year, Louis Berger offers to young graduates internships and International Voluntary Service in Enterprises positions to enable them to discover and participate in project management.
Louis Berger participates in a several student job Forums for young graduates every year to meet candidates, as in previous years at the SYNTEC forum and the TRIUM forum.
Quality Assurance System and HR Management
All of our HR procedures linked to the management of our staff at headquarters and abroad falls under our Quality Assurance system.
Louis Berger has developed its own quality assurance system to organize and manage projects and to monitor its services for studies and technical support. The system was initially developed according to the reference table ISO 9001 version 2000 and Louis Berger was first certified in March 2003. In March 2009, Louis Berger was certified once again according to the reference table ISO 9001 version 2008.
